The 2005 season is upon us with opening night this Saturday evening at Irwindale speedway. The excitement is running on high and the team is anticipating a very good year. Kenton Gray is very anxious to take the first green flag of the year and is very confident with his chances at a win Saturday night.
The 2004 season ended with the team finishing 3rd in its class and achieving several of the goals it set out to accomplish.
Like any successful program we have star high goals for this year and feel the ground-work was has been laid for rocket ride season in 2005.
We have several new faces working with the team that bring a lot of experience and talent that we expect will only add to the teams overall competitiveness and stability each race.
Last year Kenton proved to be one of the fastest drivers on the track even as a first year rookie against seasoned veteran pros. This year Kenton will take the track as a Pro and race for the championship. “We have everything we need to be successful this year and I am very happy with the way things are coming together,” said Gray
Kenton will be running in both the Legends class again this year and in select Super Late Model races in NASCAR’s Dodge weekly series at Irwindale Speedway.
Be sure to come down and say hello during the on track autograph session Saturday night before the races.
If last years season opener is any indication this year proves to be a wild one.
See you all there.
